This week Gartner released its Cool Vendor report for Cloud and Emerging Technology Security – and there we were: Soha Systems named Cool Vendor by Gartner. Boom. Holy Popcorn Batman! What a great honor it is to see the impact Soha is having on the market recognized by one of the world’s premier analyst firms in this way.
We started on a journey three years ago to transform and simplify access to enterprise applications in the midst of tidal shifts in IT due to cloud, mobility, and global enterprise partner ecosystems. Back then we didn’t know quite how to describe our innovative and radically more secure model of providing secure access – Cloud Air-Gap? Secure Access Service? Distributed Perimeter? – but the transformative effect we were having on our customers’ IT environments was palpable in their reaction to the simplicity of deploying our service.
Now we have a name for what we do: In the report Gartner Analyst Neil MacDonald calls our Soha Cloud a “DMZ-as-a-Service.” That is very apropos as Soha simplifies access while improving security by delivering the bundle of capabilities that would normally reside inside a network DMZ as a cloud service.
And our growing customer base is using our technology to provide secure, painless access to third parties – including contractors, suppliers and franchisees.
Today it is simply too painful for enterprises to secure remote access by building DMZs in every location where they need to provide access. By delivering a DMZ-as-a-Service, Soha centralizes connectivity and security policy while eliminating the need to expose any internal infrastructure directly to the Internet.
We're obviously excited that Soha's technology is getting noticed beyond our customer base where it’s impacting them daily. Thanks to Gartner for the recognition. And thanks to our customers for finding value in what we have built every day. That is what’s coolest of all.
